- There is one sovereign God and Creator of the Universe [1].
God is comprised of three persons called the Holy Trinity or triune
Godhead: Father, Son, and Holy
Spirit. [2] - Jesus Christ is God's unique Son , the second person of the Trinity. He is both fully man and fully God.[3] He was born of a virgin [4] and was crucified and died to pay the price of sin for all Mankind [5]. He is the fulfillment of the Old Testament prophecies concerning the Messiah, or the 'Christ' [6]. He was fully resurrected on the third day to gain victory over sin and death once and for all . Jesus Christ will return in fulfillment of the remaining prophecies and gather his believers. Then he will ultimately reign forever in peace and righteousness as King of Heaven and Earth [7].
- The Holy Sprit is the third person of the Trinity sent by God to guide , teach, empower and indwell each believer and to equip and enable them to communicate the message of God's mercy and salvation through Christ to the world [8].
- The Holy Bible is the inerrant and complete Word of God, inspired by God , but physically recorded by men. The Scriptures are the complete revelation of God’s will for all Mankind and have been preserved accurately throughout the ages . [9]
- God created the universe by his infinite power as recorded in the book of Genesis. Mankind was created perfect but fell into disobedience [sin] , and through that disobedience brought about death for Mankind and all life on the Earth . All people are born with a sinful nature and are spiritually separated from God [10].
- Salvation from death and eternal punishment [hell] is only by the grace and mercy of God . Individuals can be saved only through accepting the atoning substitutionary sacrifice of Jesus Christ . By doing this, they are made a “new creation” and Christ dwells in them, progressively transforming them into his image [11]
